Happy Halloween!!

I do realize I'm a little late with this blog post, but better late than never right? Anyway, I hope everyone enjoyed their halloween(for those who celebrate). We had a fantastic halloween this year. My husband finally didnt have to work and he wasnt deployed, who couldnt ask for a better one? He did have to go in for a few hours to cover someones shift, the joys of being an assistant manager, so maybe I should rephrase that? Naw you get my drift. What I'm getting at we all go to dress up this year, my boys always do. But mommy doesnt seeing as I don't like to go alone. But this year Mommy was a gangster, daddy was a spartan and my boys were GhostBusters!
It was pretty awesome!! They loved it! My youngest, Xavier understood it more this year. He picked up quick that the houses with lights on had candy and the ones without didnt. He'd often say 'mommy ooh no light' and run to the next house. Its safe to say he had a blast Sunday night.

Now I"m done rambling lets get to my photos!

We attempted pictures and as you can see they don't take me very serious lol.  But at least I have some right?

Thank you for looking!!!

Dynamite comes in small packages...

you remember that saying growing up? Or just overall? Sometimes how we never believe it till it happens, then its like woah! Well, this was most definitely the case here but in the best way possible. I meet up with this awesome family..Adalyn who is a bundle of joy and most definitely dynamite. My boys came along, since it was a bit different than normal it was a play date/session type thing. She loved my boys, monkey see kind of stuff. She and my boys had tons of fun. We managed to get them apart long enough so I could get a few snap shots while she was happy lol.

Well without further ado

Thanks for peeking! Until next time!

Rachel.

How they grow so fast...

your kids grow so fast, its quite insane. Here I am with an almost 6yr old and a 3yr old. My oldest is in Kindergarten. We took a shoot and did our own pictures. He decided he would talk to me throughout the whole process, lol. We talked about what kind of funny phrases we would say, stinky butt was his favorite. He couldn't stand still either lol, which is normal for him. He's non stop all day..he's been that way from far back as I can remember. He's like an energizer bunny..he keeps going and going lol. I love him though, he's a huge sweetheart when he's being like his daddy and a butthead(love you babe).

Well I feel like I've chatted enough, so here we go! Seths kindergarten pictures!

If you are interested in doing a session with your school aged kid please contact me. I do have packages just for school pictures. Check out http://www.photosbyrtripp.com/ or contact me on facebook/email.

Birthday Pictures for my own!

We attempted them, he wasnt to into them this time. That happens though when you have a very active almost 3yr old though. I'm just happy he at least cooperated a little bit during the whole thing. It was a very short, umm.. session with him lol. I'll be doing more next weekend hopefully when we have more time, we're planning his birthday party Saturday so all week we've been extremely busy making sure we have everything we need. As moms know its a never ending job double, triple checking the list.

So without further ado...

This one is my favorite^^^ he was so into it.

He didnt care to much for this! We got a bit gutsy on the rocks, I dont think he cared to much for my idea.

Oh how I love my boy! Well I shall return sometime during the week with birthday party pictures and hopefully I'll get some more big 3 pictures from him. Then next month I get to do it all again with the number 6!! My kids are getting so big =(

Thanks for reading!
Rachel

No matter the distance I'll always be there....

I'm trying to think of witty titles...sometimes I get it right...moving on folks.

On my way back home I stopped in Dallas to meet a long time friend who I havent seen in almost 2 1/2 years. This time she had an someone extra!  I was very stoked to finally meet Isabella. Before I came down I managed to make her an adorable tutu, which you'll see below.  I'm so excited she 'approved of me' being around her mommy, we both kind of hung out together, well as much as you can with a 9 month old. I felt like her other jungle gym besides mommy, made me feel very special. Isabella is just adorable, nothing else to it hehe.

I do sell tutu's, if you're interested please contact me.
Enjoy!!

"Families are like fudge...

mostly sweet with a few nuts" -Author unknown.

I found this quote online, I think it fits perfectly, you will soon see why. First a few things, I've been doing a lot of thinking, I think I'm going to revamp on how I do this whole blog thing. I feel that I'm boring to you guys. You will still receive your sneak peek, promise! But I'd like to chat a bit more with you try to think of some witty titles(which sometimes I feel like I fail). Come chat with me on FB, I'm a very talkative person sometimes too talkative. I do enjoy a nice conversation since most of the time my days consist of a 5yr old a 2yr old.

Lets get back to this energetic family! They we're a blast to work with, the boys were fun. C(the older one) was too cute, such a goof ball just like B(his little brother). B was a ball of energy, he would sit still long enough for the pose then say 'all done' and run off till the next one. So cute!

Real quick, apparently I'm having issues with my images now showing up as sharp as they are in person, pay no mind please! I'll be figuring that out soon hopefully. They are high res on my computer, in my file, the internet, facebook etc tends to degrade the way my pictures look. I'm sorry about that!

An outtake...by request! Who doesn't love funny photos?

Hopefully I'll see you guys again soon! And for the rest of you, I hope I'll be seeing your inquiry soon :)

Till next time,

Rachel!

p.s more so a note to myself, but I wish my watermark didnt look so funky online. :(

Mr & Mrs C Wedding

Yep, you read that right, I got a chance to shoot my first wedding. It wasn't a big wedding, but the size doesn't matter. What an experience! I loved that it was somewhat personal to me, someone I knew. This blog post is so hard for me to type, so many pictures to choose from to show. I want to show them all, I really do. Saturday went over so well, I got so many emotional pictures and some fun ones too.
So we're going to step out of the traditional 2 picture sneak peek just for a moment, deal with me as I tell a short story.

Daddy walking his daughter down the aisle.

First kiss as Husband and Wife.

Family.

Isn't she precious?

A few more from our after wedding pictures.

Just one more! Have seen what I mean yet? So very hard to pick just a few to show, I'm having a hard time choosing these as it is.

This was hard work, I hope you enoyed your sneak peek Mrs C(hehe). You are more than welcome to link anyone here to view and comment. Enjoy everyone!!
