I Heart Faces Photo Challenge | Anything But Face

After much delibration I decided to be casual yet feel good about myself. We get so wrapped up in being moms or working we forget that a simple change of clothes can make a huge change in our attitude. In this case, I decided to just change my shoes. Instead of boring tennis shoes, I sported my wedges today while taking my 6yr old to school and for once I actually felt good.

Sunday Peeks

I'm going to try to do something new, hopefully I'll remember to do this every weekend. If not then remind me please? I often take pictures of whats going on in my own house, I just always fail to show it. Well let me rephrase that I dont share with you all what I do at home. Hopefully this will change all that, at least give you a perspective what I do in a day.

We have a german shepard named Lulu. She's a spoiled baby hehe. She tends to think she can sit on the couch and take up all the room. I was booted off the couch and onto the floor, which kinda worked out cause i can get cool shoots like this.

My husband and I got bored and started playing with the boys' hand light thing, for the life of me I cannot remember whats it called. Anyway we turned off all the lights and just had fun with it. This is one of my favorites that we did.

Thanks for taking a sneak peek into my daily life :)

Maternity - looking for a fashion forward, hip mama due before April 10, 2011 (outdoor session)

Newborn- must be under 10 days
Girl age 3-6 years old (outdoor session)
Boudoir- must pay for own room, must be female

Entries must include a photo within the past year and other important info (names, address, ages, due dates, etc.) to be considered. Thank you!

First and foremost I am an artist. There are times when I get an idea in my head that I just HAVE to photograph. As many artists do, I pull inspiration from so many places and when that strikes I want to fulfill it!

This is good news for you!

As I get ideas that I want to photograph I will often put out "fresh face casting calls" looking for a specific type of model. This will usually include a complimentary session as a gift to you for helping me fulfill the idea and some other complimentary goodies I offer. For these events, no minimum purchase is required.

All I ask in return is complete creative control (of course we are always safe!) and a signed model release which means I may use the images produced for marketing my business (never with your name attached) on my website, blog, facebook, etc.

Everyone Loves A Baby Belly!

I'm getting nerdy with these titles arent it? At least I'm interesting, or I try to be. These are for my sister, whom is always one of the best models I can find when I need one. Now her lovely daughter will be the second best. I'm so excited to finally have a niece, from my side of the family. I'm already an aunt from my husbands side, but this times its my turn. There will be more to come within the next month or so as she gets bigger. She's due mid April!

Enjoy the peek!

Rose Droplets

I've done waterdroplets before. I've seen water droplets done on roses before. Of course I wanted to at least try it. What better time to try than with the roses I got for valentines day! I could use more work, maybe I'll try it again with a different flower or another techinque.
Thanks for looking

Cake Smash | Olathe Kansas Photographer

I have so much fun with first birthday cake smash sessions. Kids are hilarious anyway, but give them a big pile of sugar with full permissions and well it can only = fun. You really can’t guarantee much with it. Some kids love it. Some kids could care less. But you can guarantee that it’s me, mom and dad pretty much laughing for 45 minutes straight.

Here is a sneak peek from this awesome little dudes cake smash! Happy Birthday Caleb!
